Dr. Karla Nichols was born in Santa Monica, CA and raised on LA’s Westside, Dr. Nichols has always been a beach girl. A robust sports program and the new addition of computers in the classroom drew her to The Michigan State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She loves The Spartans and serves on the OC Alumni Board of Directors.

Dr. Nichols is the Vice President of the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association board and serves on the House of Delegates for the California Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Nichols is married to Cory and they started Mariners Mile Pet Clinic in 2003. They have three dogs: Inez, Pillsbury & Mama Tulia.
