Dr. Whisler began her veterinary career working as a veterinary technician and she owned her own pet sitting business through college. She completed her undergraduate studies at San Francisco State University and graduated from Washington State University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. After her graduation, Dr. Whisler returned to her hometown of Irvine, California.

Dr. Whisler treats dogs, cats, and small mammals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, and ferrets. In addition to general medicine, she has a special interest in cardiology and ferret medicine. She currently lives with her husband and young son in Costa Mesa. They share their home with 2 dogs and 2 cats. In her little free time, she enjoys Yoga and spending time with her family. Dr. Whisler joined the Animal Hospital of Huntington of Beach in 2020.
